Last 22nd and 23rd February, the seminar Ready 4 Growth Ciències de la Vida (Life Science) took place in Barcelona. Its main objective was to increase small life science companies' possibilities to have access to financial aid so they can develop their growth and consolidation activities.
The seminar was addressed to 15 Barcelona's area small innovative life science companies, which had to go through a previous accurate selection process according to their company profile.
The seminar analyses the financial aid possibilities for their company's growth and funding activities. Also, it analyses sector tendencies, new technologies, team building management, intellectual property rights protection, sales strategy development and financial world main actors relations making.
Montserrat Daban, BioRegion of Catalonia Communication and Institutional Relations Director, participated in the seminar's opening act, which had also the participation of Maravillas Rojo (Innovation Counsellor of the Barcelona City Council and President of Barcelona Activa) and of M. Carme Verdaguer (Innovation director of the Bosch and Gimpera Foundation of the University of Barcelona.)
