After nine months of intense training-by-doing, the group d·HEALTH Barcelona Fellows has reached the end of this one-in-a-lifetime learning. The nine d·HEALTH fellows are now equipped not only with specific knowledge but also with entrepreneurship and personal skills to develop the real solutions in medical technologies the society demands.
The teams are indeed already working on developing viable solutions for three unmet clinical needs identified in Barcelona's top hospitals, which they will present for a first time to the public and to a special jury at the Graduation Day. New this year, emerged projects and companies of fellows from previous editions of the master will be also presented: usMIMA (MOWOOT), Myqup and Meelk.
John M. Collins, PhD, Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology (CIMIT) (US), will be the keynote speaker. Collins spent his career in industry as a leader in technology-driven businesses, with more than 25 years of international experience focused on the accelerated development and commercialization of innovative technologies, products and services. He will share some lessons learned throughout his experience in accelerating more than 600 projects in CIMIT.
