After nine months of intense training-by-doing, the group d·HEALTH Barcelona Fellows 2017 has reached the end of this one-in-a-lifetime learning. The eleven d·HEALTH fellows are now equipped not only with specific knowledge but also with entrepreneurship and personal skills to develop the real solutions in medical technologies the society demands.
The teams are indeed already working on developing viable solutions for three unmet clinical needs identified during their stay in three hospitals in Barcelona. These solutions will be presented for the first time in public - and to a special jury- at the Graduation Day. New this year, there will also be a Lessons Learned session of other projects arising from other European biodesign programs.
Toby Reid, Managing Director of BioCity Scotland will be the keynote speaker. Reid is the executive director of BioCity and MediCity in Scotland and Nottingham, which offer support to companies that want to develop their growth plans. He will be sharing some best practices in his entrepreneurship specialties: Lean start-up, business model canvas and business incubation, among others.
Restricted event, access with invitation only.
