IQS Tech Factory organizes the IQS Tech Fest, the Festival of Industrial Startups, dedicated to industrial entrepreneurship. The IQS Tech Factory is a day long event with exhibition area with 50 startups, Keynote sessions, Investment Forum and networking area.
The aim of the festival is presenting the technologies of the startups of the industrial ecosystem, offering visibility and promoting the development of industrial startups, connect with potential partners and learn about the latest market trends.
This year, the industrial sectors represented in the exhibition area will be expanded, which will include: Advanced Industrial Techniques; Automation and Robotics; Life Sciences: New Materials; Energy and Environment; Wearables; Food and Sport.
The event will feature several international experts such as Stephen Dunne, director of Neuroelectrics, the company specialized in the development of technological devices to stimulate and treat diseases related to the brain, Lynette Kucsma, co-founder of Natural Machines, Alfons Cornella, CEO of Infonomia and Neil Harbisson, artist and cyborg that was born with achromatopsia a congenital disease, that only allows to see in black and white. He will explain to the public the story of how he hears colors after designing and implementing an antenna in his brain.
