We define market access as the long and complex journey that the companies that develop a product must travel to reach the market under two conditions: that the patients can be able to get the benifits of the products soon as possible; and that the product has financing and a target price. 

During this trip accesing the market, biopharmaceutical and healthcare products companies are faced with many questions: what is the burden of the disease in my indication?, Can I differentiate my product from the clinical, humanistic and economic "Standard of care" point of view?, And how and when will the benefit of my product be assessed by the financier?, What requirements will I have ?, What price will I be able to request? Will this price be optimal to return the investment?. We will discuss these questions with market access experts.

 


The sessions 'Lessons Learned: Sharing experiences to boost competitiveness' are a knowledge and networking forum geared towards professionals from companies in the life sciences arena. They aim to allow participants to share their experience and reflections in various strategic areas of knowledge and the skills needed to boost competitiveness in biotechnology companies.
