Antoni studied telecommunications engineering and has always been interested in business, consulting and strategy. His professional career has been marked by change, starting at Atos Origin, then the UOC –managing their research center–, PAU Education and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). It was at the UPF where he met the other co-founders of Galgo Medical.
Graduated as an Industrial Design engineer in 1991 at the Delft University of Technology, Laszlo applied what he learned about innovation and New Business Creation as a strategy consultant in The Netherlands. In 2002 he came to Barcelona to set up his own consultancy firm in the area of innovation and RTD strategy: Bax & Willems. That firm now employs about 20 people full time from different countries and disciplinary backgrounds. Since 2013 he is "doubly entrepreneur", so he spents a part of his time as co-founder and CEO of Braingaze.
Economist and entrepreneur. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from Pompeu Fabra University and a Masters in Online Business Creation from Ramon Llull University. As an economist, he has worked in the financial sector, specializing in foreign markets, and for companies like GVC Gaesco. And, as an entrepreneur, he is now CEO of Medtep, his second start-up. Pantaleoni is a candidate for the ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ list of young talent.
After getting a degree in materials engineering from EEIGM (France) and ETSEIB-UPC (Catalonia), Yassine spent 6 months at the University of Minnesota. Soon after, he began his PhD dissertation on 3D printing of biomaterials to regenerate hard tissue in the UPC in the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering group, which finally led him to become a co-founder and CTO of Mimetis.
Industrial engineer and electronic engineer, Rosendo was lured away by the siren call of entrepreneurialism in the health and medtech sector. After studying business administration, entrepreneurship and innovation, he founded the medtech start-up Devicare. He is also a small investor and/or board member at start-ups Rob Surgical, usMIMA and Anaconda Biomed.
CEO of usMIMA and PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology, Markus was one of the first edition fellows of d·HEALTH Barcelona, the biodesign postgraduate program of Moebio (an initiative of Biocat). He is originally from Germany but he have been living and working across Europe, U.S.A. and South America.
