A piece of news
Research personnel in Catalonia have until 15 April 2015 to submit applications
In order to initiate or strengthen collaboration between biomedical research groups of excellence in Catalonia and abroad, the Daniel Bravo Andreu Private Foundation has opened the call for proposals for three grants covering nine-months stays at leading biomedical research centers in North America and Europe specializing in pediatric or adult cardiovascular studies.
The Daniel Bravo grants aim to allow research staff to join a research project or learn and be trained in a specific technique or methodology used in the group they visit. Researchers that hold a PhD, Masters or Bachelors degree and are doing research in Catalonia are eligible for the grants.
Each grant comes with a €3,000 gross monthly allowance, as well as covering travel expenses.
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of renowned independent specialists based on the scientific quality of the proposed research and the applicant’s career. To be considered for the grants, applicants must send the application form to beques@fundaciodanielbravo.org by 15 April 2015.
