Theory and the personal experiences of successful biotech entrepreneurs combine in a training session to be held on April 30 and May 7 and 14
Registration is now open for 9th edition of the “Claus per Bioemprendre” introductory course in bioentrepreneurship, which will take place in three sessions held on 30 April, 7 and 14 May, from 18:00 to 21:00h in Barcelona. The course is geared towards graduates and undergraduate students in the life sciences, masters and PhD students and young researchers.
The goal of the workshops is to learn about the personal experiences of some of the most prominent bioentrepreneurs in the BioRegion of Catalonia, where they will explain their secrets to becoming an entrepreneur in the sector, from identifying good scientific ideas to achieving business success.
The deadline for registration is 23th April. The sessions will be held in the Auditori Esteve in the Esther Koplowitz Center (CEK). The price is 35 euros for the entire course.
“Claus per Bioemprendre” has three three-hour sessions, covering the role of entrepreneurship in biotechnology; the first steps in bioentrepreneurship, from concept to first rounds of funding; and the phases and partners that make up the life cycle of a biotechnology company.
