Want to boost your startup’s international visibility? Reserve a booth in the health section of 4YFN!

If you have a startup in the life sciences and healthcare arena with developed, distinguishing technology and want to raise awareness of it internationally, now is your chance to boost your visibility with your own stand at 4YFN, the essential event for connecting investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world, which is back in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2.

As part of Mobile World Congress Barcelona, 4YFN is once again putting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Barcelona and Catalonia on the world stage for four days. There will be conferences, debates, panels with opinion leaders and startups, and networking activities.

For this upcoming edition, ACCIÓ, Biocat and the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS) are coordinating a special section for health in the Discovery zone, where companies from the BioRegion can share their solutions and network. A chance to discover other companies and forge high-impact collaborations.

Is this opportunity for me?

The requirements your startup has to meet to request a space in the health Discovery zone are:

• The company must be recently created and have less than 10 years in the business. 
• Be located in Catalonia.
• From the healthcare sector (digital health, medtech, bioinformatics or the omic sciences).
• Significant technological component or disruptive innovation.
• A scalable business model with high potential for growth and focused on the global market.
• CIF (business ID number) - no freelance professionals will be accepted.
• At least three people working full-time on the project (some exceptions may be made for healthcare startups).
• Companies that only offer consultancy services, develop software for third parties or only have a website without much activity are not eligible.

How can I take part?

1. Fill out this ACCIÓ form and tick the box for “healthcare” companies.  When you submit the form, make sure to have your pitch deck ready to attach in PowerPoint or PDF format, as noted in the requirements. Applications without a pitch deck attached when submitting the form will not be considered. The deadline for submitting the form with your pitch deck is November 7, 2022.
    
2. Selected startups will be contacted between November 8 and 11, 2022, and will have until November 25 to make their reservation. The registration costs €300 + VAT.
