CEO from Health Circuit
Degree in Computer Science and PhD from the University of Barcelona. He began working with the research community at the Institut d'Investigació en intel·ligència artificial and was a professor at the Universitat de Barcelona. He currently applies predictive analysis and machine learning for digital health transformation at IDIBAPS and Hospital Clinic Barcelona, in addition to leading Health Circuit.
Isaac Cano founded Health Circuit in 2021. This startup has developed a digital Prehab platform with a personalized preventive pre-op program to improve the results of surgery and reduce post-op complications, length of hospital stays and care resources used.
Health Circuit is part of Surgifit, an initiative of Hospital Clínic that provides a personalized guidance program for patients having major surgery four weeks before the operation to help reduce the risk of possible complications. Plus, this year the company received funding through the línia Startup Capital d’ACCIÓ, an initiative of the Generalitat de Catalunya to drive Catalan technology companies created during the pandemic.
