Today at 7:30 pm, the last debate in the series by B·Debate and the CCCB open to the general public. With Professor Michael S. Gazzaniga of the University of California, where he heads up the new SAGE Center for the Study of Mind.


Dr. Ada Yonath, Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009, will open the conference focused on answering both university and professional needs.


Today at 7:30 pm, the latest debate from B·Debate and the CCCB, open to the general public. By Kathinka Evers, professor of Philosophy and researcher at the University of Uppsala Centre for Research Ethics & Bioethics.


The debates, open to the general public, propose an approach to neuroscience research and its impact on the concept of what defines us as human beings.


Organized by the Barcelona Culture Institute, the fair will be held tomorrow from 3:30 to 9 pm in Barcelona. Free of charge for the general public.


The coming 24th to 26th April there will take place some open and free activities for the public to learn about and participate in research projects carried out in Barcelona’s centers.


B·Debate will spearhead twelve debates and meetings of top scientific quality and social impact in 2012, all of which will be held in Catalonia.


Margarita Salas, a driving force for research in molecular biology in Spain,  will inaugurate this series of lectures at the VHIR in Barcelona.


This event, on 23 and 24 March, will focus on the jobs available to biotechnology students and junior professionals.


The City Council has opened its 2012 call for proposals to organizations and individuals that carry out activities in the culture, health and environmental arenas.
