Japan is the second largest pharmaceutical market in the world and a leader in imports in the sector. Japanese companies in this sector are internationalizing and need alliances with foreign biotechnology businesses and organizations to develop new drugs and incorporate new technology.
For the second year in a row, Biocat and ACCIÓ are organizing a business mission to Japan in conjunction with the 19th annual BioJapan fair (Yokohama). New this year, companies from the BioRegion of Catalonia will have the opportunity to have their own booth in the Spanish pavilion coordinated by ICEX.
The deadline for registering is 20 June 2017.
Participation in the mission includes attending:
BioJapan (11-13 October 2017): benchmark fair in Asia for the global biotechnology industry, bringing together top professionals in business development and industry licensing, R&D professionals and executives from biotechnology companies. This year the fair also features the HealthCare management and digital health zones.
European Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference (10 October 2017): conference organized by European bioXclusters plus project in collaboration with EU Japan and other organizations. This event, held in Osaka, will feature B2B meetings with Japanese companies.
Regenerative Medicine Japan (11-13 October 2017): partnering event parallel to BioJapan focusing on regenerative medicine.
