Human psychic life depends on recognition and acceptance of the ego and its relations with its surroundings. But how does consciousness begin? What is its relationship with neurological processes? Is consciousness individual and impervious or can it be manipulated? Is it right to interfere with a person’s psychology? We discuss these questions with a neurologist, a psychobiologist and a specialist in bioethics.
These topics and more will be discussed during this roundtable on the framework of the exhibition +HUMAN, and with the participation of the neurologists Ignacio Morgado, Bernabé Robles y Lydia Feito. Moderated by Núria Terribas, director of Victor Grifols i Lucas Foundation.
Free of charge: Amics del CCCB (Friends of the CCCB), unemployed, certified teachers (with ID) and “Targeta Rosa” pensioners.
