Graduation Day of d·HEALTH Barcelona 2014-2015

After eight months of intense training-by-doing, the group  d·HEALTH Fellows has reached the end of this one-in-a-lifetime learning. The eight d·HEALTH fellows are now equipped not only with specific knowledge but also with entrepreneurship and personal skills to develop the real solutions in medical technologies the society demands.

The teams are indeed already working on developing viable solutions for three unmet clinical needs identified in Barcelona's top hospitals, which they will present for a first time to the public and to a special jury at the Graduation Day.

Program:

• Welcome – Montserrat Vendrell, CEO, Biocat
• Summary of the first edition  – Jorge Juan Fernández, academic director of Moebio and director of e-Health and Health 2.0 at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona
• Presentation of the projects by the Fellows and Jury Feedback.
• Keynote Speech: “Lessons from Silicon Valley” – Bryant Lyn, Medical Device Entrepreneur and Medical Director of the Consultative Medicine Clinic at Stanford University
• Diploma Ceremony
