Japan has become the second largest healthcare market in the world and is among the five main trade partners for European pharmaceutical companies. However, its social setting is very different: there are linguistic and cultural complexities, and the business fabric is based on personal relationships. Being successful in this country requires investing a significant amount of time and resources. With Start.Smart.Japan, Biocat helps you accelerate this process.
Participating companies that finish the whole program will receive a prize of €2,100 to cover travel expenses, which is on top of any other subsidies they may have.
Start.Smart.Japan is part of the acceleration pillar of EIT Health, Go Global, the project that aims to provide companies in medtech, biotech and digital health with the competence needed for international expansion. Participants are supported in entering to new markets with knowledge about specific countries' healthcare systems, regulatory envirornments, key stakeholders and competitors.
