On 15 February, the conference "Virtual Human Twins: The first generation of virtual twins enters medicine" will be organized by the Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona (CoMB), Grup Interdisciplinari de Professionals vinculats a la Salut (GIPS) of the Consell de Col·legis de Metges de Catalunya (CCMC), ELEM Biotech and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
During the event, the scientific advances developed at the BSC and its spin-off ELEM Biotech in the field of Human Virtual Twins and their application in medicine will be presented. There will also be a round table discussion on the barriers to the development and implementation of this technology in hospitals with the participation of professionals from different backgrounds.
