BIO Boston 2018

BIO International Convention, the most important partnering meeting of the international biotechnology sector, was held in the city of Boston from June 4 to 7, 2018. The Spanish pavilion was common to all companies, including the Catalan ones, which managed their presence through ICEX.

The participation model has changed in 2018 and ICEX pavilion (stand number 543) was common for all Spanish companies, regardless of the bioregion from which they come. Biocat attended the fair and contributed to the diffusion of the Catalan presence in Boston, but not coordinated the delegation or acted as an interlocutor with ICEX.

Two modalities of participation

ICEX offered two types of participation -with and without stand- and both included the Convention Access & Partnering ticket, the most complete of the fair, which allows access to the partnering system and arrange meetings in the Business Forum, as well as giving access to everything the program. So, as it happened in the last editions, there was no partnering inside the pavilion, but in the Business Forum area.

Program

Check the program of the 2018 convention and other relevant aspects on the BIO International Convention website.
