Biocat was present once again at the BIO Philadelphia 2015, the main fair and partnering event in the biotechnology sector internationally, which was held between 15th and 18th June. This edition was attended by 37 Catalan entities —28 companies and 8 institutions— and 15,667 delegates from 66 countries which fosters over 29,279 partnering meetings.
On 2015, the BIO International Convention was held from 15 to 18 June 2015 in Philadelphia (United States). The Philadelphia metropolitan area is home to more than 1,200 companies, ranging from large multinational corporations in the biopharmaceutical industry to national companies with great projection and high growth. The exhibitors participating in BIO, thus, have the chance to meet top executives and decision-makers attending the convention to discover new stakeholders in the industry, forge partnerships and assess emerging technology.
The BioRegion of Catalonia will have its own space in the Spanish pavilion, which this year will be in a privileged spot near one of the main entrances to the fair and next to one of its main sponsors. The Spanish pavilion this year is #booth2301.
On 2014, BIO brougth together 3,166 companies —including 26 Catalan companies and institutions— and 15,667 delegates from 66 countries, featured more than 1,800 exhibitors and broke records with 29,145 partnering meetings.
