Biocat returned for another year to Biospain 2012, held from 19 to 21 September at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) in Barakaldo (province of Biscay). Biocat headed the Catalan delegation, which was made up of a total of 119 companies and institutions which participated.
Biospain 2012 welcomed a total of 217 exhibitors, 762 companies and institutions, and over 1,850 delegates from 25 countries, an increase of 32% in comparison to the event held in 2010. This year’s edition of Biospain also included as many as 2,775 one-to-one meetings, a growth of 29% in relation to the previous edition.
Biospain 2012 was structured like a trade fair and featured a partnering event, an investor forum, plenary sessions and conferences on diverse subjects with national and International speakers, the scientific congress of the Spanish Society of Biotechnology (SEBIOT), and an employment forum.
