The aim of this line of work is to help encourage new start-ups in the fields of biotechnology, medical technology and digital health, as well as accelerating existing projects, through a series of incubation services, training, mentoring, networking and access to funding.

Biocat offers mentoring to the best research projects of the BioRegion and brings them together in private meetings with investors.

The Open Innovation Forum is a program that allows companies to share their innovation challenges and get proposals from research groups and centers.

The event puts scientists from different research groups in touch with business people in order to form work groups and create start ups related to life sciences.
