The INNAXE project - from the European Horizon 2021 program - aims to strengthen the networking of life sciences and healthcare ecosystems to increase their efficiency and innovation capabilities, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities stemming from the twin transformation.
The six European clusters that are part of INNAXE will work to assess the impact of the actions and programs they carry out in their respective ecosystems to connect stakeholders and drive innovation.
INNAXE (acronym for “Inclusive & aligned INNovation Agendas across Europe”) seeks to measure the impact that different clusters' activities have on their ecosystems, with a view to better serve their stakeholders in responding to their needs.
During the first phase of the project, which will run from 2022 to 2024, the partners will agree on a set of indicators to measure the innovation performance of life sciences and health technology ecosystems and use them to compare across regions.
In the second phase, the consortium will contact regional authorities, public and private stakeholders in their regions to involve them in the project's reflection and co-creation activities.
Finally, a joint action plan will be drawn up including high-impact activities for more interconnected, inclusive, sustainable, dynamic and competitive life sciences and healthcare ecosystems in Europe.
The INNAXE project has 5 main tasks:
INNAXE partners will conduct a survey targeted at clusters to receive relevant information about their organizations and the actions they carry out in order to compare cluster practices.
In addition, the partners will carry out a survey addressed to quadruple helix stakeholders to validate the actions included in the joint program.
INNAXE allows networking at the European level (CEBR) and specifically in the foreign markets of the countries and regions represented in the project:
