Biocat granted bronze label for “Cluster Management Excellence”
This distinction, granted by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), recognizes the organization’s role as a driving force for the health innovation ecosystem in Catalonia that is making the BioRegion a global benchmark
Biocat has been granted the bronze label for “Cluster Management Excellence” for its role in bringing together the BioRegion of Catalonia and its ability to forge strategic alliances within the ecosystem and with other clusters, as well as its activity projecting the BioRegion of Catalonia internationally.
This distinction was awarded after Biocat underwent an internal and external audit assessing its organizational structure, internal processes, and relationships with the ecosystem and other international clusters. Biocat initially applied for the bronze label as it is an organization that drives the ecosystem without charging membership fees,as the first step towards getting the gold label, which it intends to apply for in the near future as a benchmark in the international arena.
With this seal of quality, the organization has joined the club of Europe clusters with this label of excellence, which will further strengthen its bonds and shared strategies with other European health innovation ecosystems.
