La Marató de 3Cat has dedicated the 2023 edition to sexual and reproductive health, with a special focus on women. These pathologies affect 3 million people in Catalonia, and have an incidence -number of new cases appearing in a given population and time- estimated at 210,905 new cases each year. In this context, Biocat has joined the initiative by shining a light on companies in the BioRegion of Catalonia that contribute to improving women's health and wellbeing.

Before the pandemic, mental health was a taboo subject. It was not until the confinement that society began to open up to talk about their emotional wellbeing, which, together with social distancing and technological advances, led to a boom in digital mental health companies. Therefore, we analyze which companies are in the BioRegion, what investment they have raised and what kind of technology they use.
