Jose joined Biocat in 2010, and since then he has held different responsibilities within the Finance department. In 2013 he was appointed Director of Finance and Services, and in 2015 he also assumed the management of the Human Resources area of Biocat.
He manages a team of four people and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Finance, Administration and Human Resources area of the Organization, which also includes the leadership of the information systems. He leads the financial, fiscal and budgetary strategy, as well as treasury management and supervision of administrative processes and procedures, among others. In the area of personnel management, he plans and leads the teams promotion and new hire selection processes, the teams benefit plans, its training and all labor management.
He has extensive experience in financial and tax planning and the management of multidisciplinary teams, as well as extensive experience in auditing and consulting. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, a postgraduate degree in taxation from the Centro de Estudios Financieros and has attended different programs in the field of European project management, finance, accounting and labor relations.
Jose enjoys traveling, sports and music, and is a lover of good food, especially when he shared with family or friends and accompanied by a good meal.
