Catalan Health System innovation Access Program (PASS)

Platform that collects and showcases innovation generated in Catalonia with potential for implementation in the Health System. With a unique and centralized registry, it facilitates search, connection, and collaboration among key ecosystem agents, enhancing synergies and accelerating the arrival of innovative solutions to the healthcare system.

The Advanced Therapies Hub of Catalonia (ATMP Catalonia)

ATMP Catalonia is a dynamic community that brings together companies, research centers, hospitals, and public and private institutions committed to the development of gene, cell, and tissue engineering therapies.

Catalonia Health Investment Portal

This platform facilitates connections between investable projects and startups or spinoffs established in Catalonia with national and international investors and corporations.

Catalan Health System innovation Access Program (PASS)

This program aims to speed up and facilitate the incorporation of high-value innovations into the Catalan Health System. To participate, it is necessary to register on the Innovation Platform, a centralized portal that collects products and services developed in Catalonia with potential for implementation in the healthcare system. The platform allows searching and connecting innovative agents with healthcare centers, fostering collaboration and identifying implementation opportunities. It also includes a Self-Assessment Tool validated by AQuAS and offers access to a personalized support service for selected innovations, according to the priorities set by the Catalan Health Service.

Interaction with Health System centers interested in incorporating new solutions.
Initial guidance to advance towards adoption in the public system.
Access to the Self-Assessment Tool, validated by AQuAS, to preliminarily evaluate the maturity of your innovation.
A priority access route to the institutional personalized support program, in coordination with AQuAS, for innovations that meet the established requirements.
Evaluations carried out by AQuAS and soon by the evaluation cells network (X-CAT).

A unique and centralized directory of high-value innovative solutions, ready for evaluation and possible adoption.
Direct connection with other already registered system centers, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.

Who is the program aimed at?

Innovation generators with:

Medical technologies or digital health solutions at TRL 4 (proof of viability).
Biotechnological solutions at TRL 6 (early clinical stage).

The Catalan Health Service and centers within the healthcare network: hospitals, primary and community care, mental health and addictions, and intermediate care.

The Advanced Therapies Hub of Catalonia (ATMP Catalonia) is an initiative driven by Biocat to accelerate the development and access to gene, cell, and tissue engineering therapies. ATMP Catalonia promotes collaboration among key ecosystem agents, from research to clinical practice and industry, to improve connections between different actors, foster alliances along the entire value chain, and address the main challenges of the sector. The ultimate goal is to ensure these therapies reach the population more quickly, efficiently, and sustainably.

Catalonia Health Investment Portal

The matchmaking platform connects startups and innovative projects in Biotech, MedTech, and Digital Health from the Catalonia BioRegion with global investors and corporations. It facilitates ecosystem visibility and connection, promoting investment and international business opportunities.

The portal allows showcasing assets and performing customized searches to identify and directly contact potential candidates. More than 200 investors and corporations are already registered. Access is exclusive to profiles validated by Biocat, ensuring quality and relevance.
