Barcelona Deep Tech Summit 2026

The event

The Barcelona Deep Tech Summit 2026 will take place from 3 to 5 November at Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via, as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress. Organised by Barcelona Activa, the event will bring together startups, spinoffs, researchers, investors, corporations and institutions to drive Deep Tech innovation and strengthen the connection between science, technology and the market.

Three key thematic tracks

• Augmented Human: Explores how Deep Tech is transforming healthcare, work and human capabilities, with a particular focus on innovations in health and human performance.
   
• Deep Intelligence: Focuses on the technologies and infrastructure driving the next generation of artificial intelligence and other strategic technologies for Europe.
   
• Corporate Frontier: Examines how large companies collaborate with startups and research centres to accelerate the adoption of Deep Tech and turn innovation into a competitive advantage.

Networking and business opportunities

The Summit will offer exhibition spaces, networking activities and one-to-one meetings between startups, corporations, investors and research centres to foster new collaborations and accelerate technology transfer.
