From February 16 to 20, 2026, we will celebrate the vibrant and dynamic life sciences and health ecosystem that makes Barcelona a global hub for health innovation.
As part of the presentation of the 2025 BioRegion Report, this year's event will feature a dynamic program of activities, keynote presentations, roundtables, and webinars highlighting the latest developments and breakthroughs in the sector.

Do I need to prepare a specific activity for BHIW, or can we include activities we already have planned for this year?
The activity does not need to be created specifically for BHIW. You can have an activity already planned and decide to schedule it during these dates, so that it becomes part of the initiative. In this case, it will be included in the program and will receive more visibility within the framework of BHIW.
Is there any cost associated with participation?
Registration is completely free. Only if you decide to prepare a specific activity (such as a workshop, presentation, etc.), will the costs associated with organizing the activity be your responsibility.
What does participating as an organization bring you?
Organizing an activity as part of BHIW is a visibility and positioning opportunity within the BioRegion of Catalonia and a collective effort to showcase innovations in health. Biocat will promote your activity not only on the initiative's website but also through the entity's digital communication channels, such as Twitter, which has more than 10,000 followers.
What is expected from participating companies?
Any organization within the BioRegion is welcome to participate. We would be delighted to have you on board. Any type of activity is welcome, as long as it is not commercial in nature. This includes presentations, visits, networking activities, webinars, and more ambitious formats, both in-person and online.
When will the Media Kit be available?
The Media Kit to promote your activity will be available starting this November. Once you register via the form, you will be able to access the link to the kit in both the confirmation email and on the event's website.
What are the next steps after filling out the form?
Once the form is completed, the Biocat communication and marketing team will get back to you. Starting in November, you will receive the necessary support to promote the activity you have registered.
