Barcelona Health Innovation Week 2027

Join the fifth edition of Barcelona Health Innovation Week, an initiative that highlights the dynamism and innovative capacity of Catalonia’s life sciences and health ecosystem.

As part of the presentation of the BioRegion of Catalonia Report 2026, the week will bring together startups, companies, research centres, support organisations and other sector stakeholders through a programme of activities aimed at fostering innovation, collaboration and the international visibility of the ecosystem.

Organisations from the ecosystem are invited to add sessions and activities to the Barcelona Health Innovation Week programme. The initiative offers an opportunity to showcase projects, innovations and specialised knowledge through a range of formats, such as round tables, seminars, presentations, visits, training sessions and networking spaces.

Taking part helps strengthen the organisation’s positioning, present new solutions and build connections with professionals and key stakeholders in the sector.

Barcelona Health Innovation Week 2026 brought together 52 organisations, which organised 56 activities in Barcelona and its metropolitan area. The initiative highlighted the strength and diversity of Catalonia’s health and life sciences ecosystem, with a special focus on digital health, artificial intelligence, advanced therapies and research.
