BIOSPAIN 2026

The 13th edition of BIOSPAIN, organized by AseBio, will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (Bilbao) from September 29 to October 1, 2026.
 

BIOSPAIN is the largest biotechnology event organized by a national bioindustry association in Europe and one of the largest in the world in terms of individual meetings and participating companies. 34% of our delegates came from outside Spain.

This year, BIOSPAIN will be held in Bilbao, one of Spain’s leading biotechnology clusters and one of the most cutting-edge cities in the country.

This twelfth edition closed with record figures that surpassed those of the 2023 edition. More than 2,400 attendees from 1,065 entities across 34 countries participated over three days at the Fira de Barcelona. In this diverse context, the BioRegion of Catalonia had a prominent presence: over 30% of the sessions featured Catalan speakers or moderators. A total of 750 registrants from more than 300 Catalan companies participated, reflecting the maturity and international appeal of its innovative ecosystem.

The event brought together 140 investors from 76 national and international investment entities and featured 250 exhibitors. In total, more than 4,500 meetings were held, further solidifying BIOSPAIN as the leading event for the biotechnology sector on an international scale.
