The 1st session: Health Engineering

The 1st Conference: Health Engineering, organized by the Industrial Engineers of Catalonia, will be held on November 26 in the Auditorium of the Hospital de Bellvitge.

The event aims to promote and disseminate the development of Process Management and the use of Lean methodology, as well as some of its most notable tools, such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), A3, 5S, problem analysis (5 Whys and Ishikawa diagram), Kata, and Hoshin Kanri.

During the conference, various ongoing projects at the Bellvitge University Hospital and the Hospital of Viladecans will be presented, highlighting their results and impact across different services. Additionally, the event will encourage the exchange of experiences with other healthcare centers and collaborating companies that share the goal of continuously improving quality and efficiency in the healthcare sector.
