WHX Osaka 2026

WHX Osaka 2026 took place from 2 to 4 July 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at INTEX Osaka, Japan. The congress brought together more than 8,000 visitors and 364 exhibitors, consolidating its position as an international meeting point for the health and life sciences sector.

WHX Osaka is an international exhibition and conference that connects companies, healthcare professionals, institutions and innovation stakeholders to showcase the latest medical technologies and healthcare solutions, while generating new business opportunities in the Japanese and Asian markets.

The event covers areas such as medical devices, diagnostics and imaging, digital health, healthcare information technologies, regenerative medicine, the pharmaceutical industry and rehabilitation, among others.

Biocat participated in WHX Osaka 2026 as part of an institutional mission to Japan, jointly promoted with the Government of Catalonia's Department of Research and Universities, with the aim of strengthening connections between the BioRegion of Catalonia and Japan's health innovation ecosystem.

During the congress, Biocat had its own space within the Osaka Bio Headquarters pavilion, where it showcased the BioRegion and facilitated connections with Japanese companies, universities, research centres and institutions. The Catalan delegation included the companies Reveal Genomics, AIMA, Causal Foundry, Gate2Brain, Loop Diagnostics and Neuroelectrics, as well as the XWHIN, TECSAM, Xartec Salut and XarSMART networks.
