Bio-Europe 2015 offers discounts for members of the BioRegion

This grant is compatible with the exclusive early registration price available through 20 January

The ninth edition of BIO-Europe Spring (BES) will be held in Paris from 9 to 11 March. This congress expects to attract a huge number of established biotechnology firms and early-stage companies looking to forge commercial alliances with investors and large corporations from the life sciences sector.
This year, BES 2015, with collaboration from Biocat, is offering companies and organizations from the BioRegion a discount of €200 on registrations fees to participate in the fair. To take advantage of this discount, members of the BioRegion must write "Biocat discount" in the comments field on the online registration form. This discount can be used in addition to the €200 discount for early registration (available through Tuesday 20 January) for a total discount of €400 on tickets purchased before the 20th. The Biocat discount is available until the last day of registration.
Biocat has brought two editions of BES to Barcelona, in 2010 and 2013, and will have a small booth (10A) at the 2015 edition, which will be available to companies and organizations from the BioRegion for meeting and distribution of promotional materials.
Chance to identify business opportunities and forge new partnerships
One of the greatest strengths of this event is the one-to-one partnering meetings, as can be seen in the spectacular numbers posted at the 2014 edition in Turin, Italy: 10,780 meetings held. These meetings are an effective way to meet and forge alliances with companies in the biotech, pharmaceutical, financial and investment sectors. However, BIO-Europe Spring also offers a program of workshops and debates with top-notch speakers who will share their views and opinions on key topics in the sector. At the upcoming edition, the conferences and debates will cover topics like translational medicine, gene therapy and financial issues like innovative funding models.
The congress also features an exhibition space and business presentations —including Catalan companies Esteve and Almirall— in which mid-sized and large biotechnology firms present their products, services and corporate strategies.
In 2014, BIO-Europe Spring attracted more than 2,083 delegates from 42 countries, 1,209 countries and 61 exhibitors, 132 business presentations, and noteworthy presence of Catalan companies.
