In order to boost internationalization and foster competitiveness of small and medium-sized Spanish companies, ICEX has launched the ICEX Consolida grants.

These grants are geared towards SMEs that have opened a subsidiary abroad since 1 January 2013 and cover 50% of expenses, not to exceed €50,000. Any one company may submit various projects for different markets and the grant will also cover 50% of expenditure, not to exceed €65,000.

In addition to other eligible costs related to setting up a subsidiary, the grants will also cover trademark and patent-protection expenses for the country where the subsidiary is located.

The deadline to submit applications for the ICEX Consolida grants is 4 November.
