The Healthcare Investment Forum, an event held in Barcelona bringing together investors and entrepreneurs from the healthcare and life sciences sector, has opened a new call for projects interested in raising funds and awareness. The deadline for submitting applications is 6 June and the Forum, now in its 19th edition, will be held on 22 June at the Barcelona Medical Association.
The selection committee, made up of representatives from the organizing bodies (Biocat, the Barcelona Medical Association, Esade BAN and Barcelona Activa), will select the eight best projects from those submitted on 12 June. The call is geared towards projects in biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare services or health-related information technology.
The Healthcare Investment Forum, which has been held since 2009, has acted as a springboard for more than 100 companies and helped raise approximately €50 millions, according to data from the 17th edition.
