CDTI extends deadline to present joint Spain/India biotechnology projects
This new line of funding aims to drive R&D collaborations among SMEs in these two countries with a powerful scientific sector.

The Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) has extended the deadline for applications to the call for proposals for joint Spain/India R&D projects in biotechnology through 15 October 2012. This program was created jointly with the Indian Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
Projects must focus on developing or significantly improving an innovative product, process or service with market perspectives. It must have at least one Spanish and one Indian partner.
From India, partners may be companies or research centers, and from Spain, there must be at least one company (which can optionally collaborate with other bodies).
