ICEX now accepting applications for grants for companies to host interns

ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones is once again calling on Spanish businesses to participate in the Grant Program for Companies. The program helps companies in their internationalization process by providing an intern that has been trained by the Spanish Secretariat of State for Trade’s Network of Economic and Trade Offices Abroad. The internships last one year and can take place in the company’s international department, its Spanish headquarters or any of its subsidiaries or branches abroad.

For the first six months of the internship, ICEX will fund 100% of the intern’s stipend. The company is responsible for paying this stipend for the remaining six months of the internship.

Companies interested in participating have through 12 September 2014 to apply. After applications have been received, the selection will be made based on the quality of the intern training plan and the company’s size and degree of internationalization.
