Internet of Things for healthcare comes to Barcelona at IoT Solutions World Congress

More than 250 speakers will discuss hot topics in IoT this October

Healthcare costs are dropping thanks to remote patient monitoring and fewer hospital visits. This is just one of many examples of how technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) are changing and improving healthcare.
From 3 to 5 October 2017, Barcelona is hosting the third annual IoT Solutions World Congress, in which the healthcare sector will play an important role. At the congress, we will learn how hospitals are using IoT; about overcoming difficulties in internal policies and regulatory issues to provide connected healthcare; about medical devices, wearables and security in mobile healthcare; and improving patient care through efficient use and distribution of data.
Healthcare won’t be the only topic the congress focuses on, given it transversal nature. It is one of the few that explores the potential of the Internet of Things (IoT) in industry in general and the conferences are broken down into different areas: manufacturing, energy and utilities, transport, healthcare, buildings and infrastructure, industry, quantum computing and blockchain.
The third annual IoT Solutions World Congress will bring together more than 250 top-notch speakers in a 3-day program and expects to welcome more than 10,000 professionals.
Through 31 July, companies and organizations from the BioRegion can get one free ticket for the exhibitor area with the code 111B9B47 when registering online.
