London to host upcoming edition of ‘Disruptive Innovations Europe’ conference

On 10 and 11 February 2015, London will host an event focusing on disruptive innovations to advance clinical trials in Europe: the Disruptive Innovations Europe conference. With support from the British Consulate and the NIHR Clinical Research Network, the conference will bring together top examples of disruptive clinical trials from around the world and foster collaboration on an even broader scale between industry and other stakeholders.

The latest edition of the event, which was first held in Philadelphia in 2011, attracted more than 850 participants, including the top 50 pharmaceutical companies, and featured more than 3,000 networking meetings, 220 presentations and led to more than 100 new collaborations.
Furthermore, the Disruptive Innovations Europe Conference 2014 dealt with numerous examples of innovative ideas to advance clinical trials, ranging from collaborative trials and digital commitment to design thinking and telemedicine, among others.
