The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation and the Barcelona Knowledge Campus have opened up a line of grants for outsourcing activities that provide value added for technology projects. These grants are open to technology-based companies created in the past year and connected to the UB, as well as UB researchers and entrepreneurs with business initiatives in the project phase.
Activities eligible for subsidies are those related to protecting industrial property, legal council –except start-up expenses– and prototypes or proof of concept. Payment of the grant will be made directly by the FBG and will not exceed 10,000 euros.
Projects will be evaluated by a committee presided over by the Vice-Rector of Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Barcelona.
Deadline for applications is 7 September 2010 and results will be made public on 1 October.
