Dr John D Halamka is President of the Mayo Clinic Platform, a digital initiative to transform health through collaboration between solution developers, data partners and healthcare service providers. The Platform's tools and solutions will reach 45 million people by 2023.
With more than 40 years of experience in emergency medicine and medical informatics, Dr Halamka has contributed to the development and implementation of health information policy. He is a professor at Harvard Medical School and has worked with various administrations and governments on health information strategies. With a broad academic background, he continues to practice emergency medicine and has authored 15 books and hundreds of articles.
