Marc Carmona is a Biomedical Engineering student at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and is currently supporting Biocat’s Acceleration and Business Development Area as an intern.
His work focuses on supporting the management of programs such as d·HEALTH Barcelona, ATMP Catalyst and CRAASH Barcelona, initiatives aimed at promoting technological innovation and knowledge transfer in the field of life sciences and health, key aspects in his professional area.
He stands out for his organizational skills, critical thinking and proactive attitude, as well as for his ability to work in a team and contribute to a work environment based on trust and collaboration. On a personal level, he enjoys popular culture, especially castells — Catalan human towers — and Mallorcan traditions, as he is originally from Mallorca, as well as reading and music.
