Robert Fabregat (Barcelona, 1980) has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona (UB), as well as a Masters in Project Management from BES-La Salle and specific training in Strategy and Innovation from ESADE. From 2019 to 2021, he was Director General of Health Research and Innovation at the Generalitat de Catalunya's Department of Health, and from 2018 to 2019 Head of Cabinet of the Minister of Health. In October 2021, he will join Biocat as Director General.
He has extensive experience in innovation strategy and in the management of national and international R&I projects in health and biomedicine, working with several research centres, public institutions and private companies. He has also been a lecturer at the University of Barcelona (UB).
