BIOSPAIN returns to Barcelona

BIOSPAIN, one of the leading congresses in Europe, brings together more than 2,000 professionals from the health, sustainable agri-food, and solutions against climate change fields, national and international, from 975 entities from 30 countries. The main objective of BIOSPAIN - which consists of several days and takes place every two years - is to promote innovation, investment, collaboration and new business opportunities. The conference is organized by ASEBIO and has the support of the Host Committee made up of Biocat, the Government of Catalonia and the Barcelona City Council.

The event also has the private support of Catalan sponsoring companies.  As a Platinum sponsor Almirall and Grifols; Gold sponsors Asabys, Esteve, Klinea, Oryzon i Ysios Captal; Silver sponsors Asphalion, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Genesis Biomed, LIM Global, Nostrum Biodiscovery i Promega. A total of 319 Catalan entities and companies participated in the fair, 32% of the total. Of these, 50 were exhibitors (20% of the total).

Pavilion of the BioRegion of Catalonia

The BioRegion of Catalonia will have its very own pavilion at BIOSPAIN. This unique space will provide startups from the BioRegion with exceptional visibility and a distinguished platform to showcase their groundbreaking solutions. The pavilion will offer these innovative companies their own meeting space, as well as an opportunity to make a pitch to potential investors. the fair will be open to students for free, with a variety of activities centered on biotech careers. The primary goal of this day is to facilitate meetings between recruitment companies and professionals looking for work. Candidates will be able to schedule interviews through the TALENT matchmaking website during matchmaking sessions. The interviews will last no more than 10 minutes and will take place in cabins reserved for members.
