The presentation of the AseBio 2024 Report will take place on June 11th at 12 AM at El Beatriz Madrid (29 Calle de José Ortega y Gasset 28006 Madrid). The event is organized by AseBio in collaboration with Amadix, Oryzon, MSD, and Tebrio.
About the event
Recent events, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and the challenges posed by climate change, among others, have highlighted the existence of a series of strategic dependencies that have led the European Union to set its autonomy as one of its main goals and to prioritize making Europe more competitive.
Throughout 2024, Europe has identified biotechnology as a key technology for strategic autonomy, and the Draghi Report calls for strengthening Europe’s competitiveness through the promotion of R&D, identifying the pharmaceutical sector among the 10 key sectors for Europe.
In addition, regulatory changes are taking place in Spain that will determine the environment in which the biotechnology sector will operate in the coming years.
During the event, the main results of the AseBio 2024 Report will be presented, and key sector actors will demonstrate how their biotechnology innovations developed in Spain contribute to making Europe more competitive.
