On September 29 and 30, the workshop "Building strong partnerships between industry and academia" will take place at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). This EATRIS-Plus workshop on good practices in public-private collaboration has been developed within the framework of the EATRIS-Plus H2020 project, a 4-year flagship initiative in personalized medicine, coordinated by EATRIS ERIC. The workshop is organized by the University of Ljubljana, the Faculty of Pharmacy (Slovenia), Biocat and EATRIS.
The conference is aimed at biotech professionals, postdoc biomedical researchers, young PIs, professionals from TTO and the pharmaceutical industry. During the two-day workshop there will be conferences on academia-industry collaboration, agreements with manufacturers, IP, licenses, new companies, copyright, negotiation and good practices between SMEs and TTO. There will also be networking opportunities and social activities.
EATRIS members can apply for a travel grant for transportation costs, in order to benefit it is necessary to contact the corresponding national node.
