The European Parliament will host the event “Personalised Medicine: Driving European Competitiveness with Regional Leadership”, a high-level meeting aimed at highlighting the role of personalised medicine and regions as drivers of innovation and competitiveness in Europe.

The event is sponsored by Biocat, supported by the Government of Catalonia, framed within the European project PRECISEU, and hosted by MEP Nicolás González Casares, Socialists & Democrats Group of the European Parliament.
During the session, which will bring together Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the European Commission, regional authorities and industry experts, key strategic issues will be discussed, including:

  • The role of personalised medicine in Europe’s competitiveness.
  • The importance of regions in fostering innovation and growth.
  • The impact of the Pharma Package and European health legislation.
  • Regional experiences and initiatives driving EU’s competitiveness.

The event will conclude with a networking reception at the European Parliament, fostering collaboration among political, scientific, industrial and institutional stakeholders.
