The ACC1Ó agency is organizing their 17th Investment Forum, on 2 December in Barcelona, which is expected to receive 500 visitors including private investors, venture capitalists, companies and entrepreneurs from the fields of ICT, biotechnology and health, clean technology, and engineering. Investors will be present from most Catalan venture capital funds and some from Europe, as well as private investors from Catalonia.

Noteworthy events on the agenda:

  • Face-to-face interviews: in addition to the networking that can be done during the coffee break and after the event, this edition of the event introduces dynamized networking with top Catalan venture capital funds and Private Investor Networks (PINs).
  • Elevator pitch: 21 selected projects will be given one moment to present their plan. From each sectorial block, one venture capital fund will offer their views on the business opportunities with the best future prospects, with participation from the OME-International Foresight. The audience will be able to vote for one project from each sector. The nine projects with the most votes (three from each sector) will have five minutes to speak to the participating audience and to answer questions from private investors from the PINs.
  • Sponsor award: the winning project, selected through audience votes, will be given the Deloitte Investment Readiness Award, which comes with 20 hours of free consultancy services.

ACC1Ó will publish a catalog of projects and funders (available on their website as of 1 December) with details on the 50 business projects with the highest potential for growth and the 50 top venture capital funds and PINs in Catalonia.
