BIO-Europe, the most important biotechnology partnering event in Europe, will be held from 12 to 14 November in Hamburg (Germany). Biocat will be present in the exhibition area (booth 20) as a Gold Sponsor of this eighteenth edition of the conference. 

BIO-Europe attracts international investors and top companies from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector, which hold thousands of networking meetings over three days. In 2011, the event received more than 3,000 delegates from 1,596 companies in 48 different countries. Nearly 15,000 one-to-one meetings were held, as well as 20 workshops and 183 business presentations.

Grants for companies

ICEX offers travel grants —managed by the Spanish Association of Biotechnology Companies (Asebio)— for Spanish biotechnology companies, a total of €370 per company.

Asebio members are also eligible for a €200 discount on the registration price. When registering, remember to write “ASEBIO Member” in the "Comments" field.

BIO-Europe Spring 2013 in Barcelona

Biocat will take advantage of the platform of international contacts BIO-Europe (the fall edition of the congress) offers to promote BIO-Europe Spring 2013 (the spring edition of the congress), which will be held in Barcelona from 11 to 13 March next year. The Barcelona City Council and Biocat are heading up the local organizing committee for BES 2013. Each year, BES attracts the top leaders from the sector in Europe, North America and Asia. Twenty-six companies and organizations from the BioRegion of Catalonia, including Biocat, participated in BES Amsterdam 2012, making up 57% of the total Spanish representation.
