Biocat and nine Catalan companies to participate in BIO-Europe Spring 2009 in Milan
<p>The third edition of the event will be held on 16th to 18th March</p>
As the host of the 2010 conference, Catalonia will have a special place at the BIO-Europe Spring Conference, which will be held 16 to 18 March in Milan (Italy). Biocat will have a stand (stand number 47), which will be a platform for the whole Catalan biotech and biomed sector.
Strategic alliances are an important part of a biotech or biomed company’s success, allowing them to access new markets, obtain funding and identify new patent opportunities. For this reason, BIO-Europe Spring is a conference designed to foster top level partnering to specifically meet the needs of the biotech and biomed sector. Last year more than 5,800 "one on one" meetings were held, making it the conference that offers the highest possibility to generate business, when compared to others related to the sector.
BIO-Europe Spring will also offer a program of conferences, company presentations and workshops
Catalan institutes and entities participating in Milan are: ACC1Ó, the Barcelona City Council, Almirall, GP Pharm, Science and Technology Institute (IUCT), Intelligent Pharma, KIM BCN, Lacer, Omnia Molecular, Oryzon and Palau Pharma.
