BioPharm America, the fastest growing partnering event in North America
The fifth edition will be held in Boston from 19 to 21 September 2012.

The fifth BioPharm America partnering event, produced by the EBD Group —which has organized successful events like BIO-Europe and BIO-Europe Spring— will be held from 19 to 21 September 2012 in Boston (United States). Once again, they will receive support from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio), which represents more than 600 biotechnology companies, research bodies and hospitals in this US state.
In 2011, BioPharm America welcomed 950 delegates from 588 companies, 73% from North America and 20% from Europe, who held 2,550 partnering meetings. The growth seen in recent editions is consolidating this event as a meeting place for top managers and executives in biotech (38%), pharma (17%), and from CROs, CMOs and consultancy firms (27%) around the world to scout for and forge strategic collaborations.
The 2012 edition will feature multinational pharmaceutical companies like Takeda Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, Bayer HealthCare, Janssen, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Sanofi and Shire. The full list of participating companies will be published shortly.
